1. Stuff you are not getting in this class being covered in the honors class.

• Finding slant asymptotes in rational functions with polynomial denominators

2. Extension of some of the calculus topics with regard to the derivative
3. Beefing up the Trig portion of this class

Derivative Extensions

The unit we were are in just introduced you to the derivative. It is a massive area of calculus. When you get to calculus, you will start with a study of limits then move to the derivative. After the power rule you will move quickly into the Product Rule, Quotient Rule and Chain Rule. I am going to try to cover them at an intro level with you now.
